Our Production of Hello, Dolly! has now finished its week’s run in the Village Theatre, and judging by audience reactions was another success for the Club. We would like to thank all our audiences throughout the week for their support and hope to see them all back for our 2011 production – more about that later. As well as our audience we are very grateful for all the help we received during the week of the show from front of house staff, bar staff and all the people who help behind the scenes. Without them it would be impossible to put on a show at all. If you would like to help with any of these jobs next year please get in touch with our secretary through the link on these pages. We are especially looking for anyone who would be interested in becoming a member of the stage crew so please get in touch if you are interested.

As always the Club is looking for new members and we will be looking for a large number of both women and men for our next production. Details of audition dates will be posted soon, but in the meantime if you are interested please get in touch with the Secretary.

We are pleased to announce that our 2011 production is to be Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Carousel. A different show completely from Hello, Dolly!, Carousel presents challenges for the club both in performances and in the staging of the Show – the first scene requires a fully operational carousel! More about the show will appear over the Summer.
