The East Kilbride Light Opera Club has a history which stretches back to the first years of the new town's existence. The shows were performed at Duncanrig High School until the Village Theatre was built. With its proscenium arch, dressing rooms and bar (amongst other benefits) the theatre has been host to all of the club's subsequent annual shows.
