General Help
Our site is split into seven sections. You can access any of these by clicking on the hyperlinks at the top and bottom of every page in the site.
The seven sections are "Index", "History", "Current", "Previous", "Links", "Social" and "Help".
"Index"
The "Index" section is the home page/front page of our site. This is where you arrive when you first come to the EKLOC site (when you type www.ekloc.co into your browser and click "go"). This section will include any news, updates and general information about the club and the site.
"History"
The "History" section has a short history of the club written by Jack Tait to celebrate the first forty years of the club. Our intention is to add loads of interesting content to this section, for instance, stories and anecdotes from members and patrons; and, of course, lots of pictures. So, if you are or ever have been associated with the club submit your stories and pictures and we'll get them online.
"Current"
The "Current" section is reserved for our current production. For example, in 2003 we are performing "Anything Goes" so the first page gives details about our production and further information on the show, whose background and history is included on additional pages. This is provided for anyone who wishes to find out more about the show and acts as a platform for further research. When you go to the "current" page the link changes from "current" to "original". Click again for more info on the history of the show.
"Previous"
The "Previous" section has a complete list of the club's previous productions starting with "The Desert Song" in 1958 (or 1957, if you include the first review, "September Song") and all the way up to "Guys and Dolls" earlier this year (sic. 2002). Some of these shows have further information attached to them. Try rolling over any of the titles to see if it is a link. This section now includes information about every major production in the history of the club.
"Links"
The "Links" section groups together all the links you'll find scattered throughout the site and adds a few more for your interest. They are divided into sections for ease of navigation.
"Social"
The "Social" section is reserved for news and views on the social life of the club. The Social Committee will provide content for this section from time to time.
"Help"
The "Help" section is for those who are unsure of how to use this site or would like to use the site map. Links are provided here for further information on how to contact the club or the site administrator.
A site map for ekloc.co.uk is planned.
